What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, profile photo, and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares with us.
- Order details — what you ordered, sizes, your delivery name, address, and phone number.
- Payment status — whether a payment succeeded and which method was used. The card or wallet details you pay with are handled by our payment partner, not stored by us.
- Payout details (Sellers) — the bank or e-wallet account name and number you give us so we can pay out your earnings.
- Content and messages — artwork, logos, and fonts you upload, messages you send in the studio, and messages you send to a store or to support.
- Technical data — the cookies that keep you signed in, and error reports when something breaks.
How we use it
- to run your account, store, and orders — making, packing, and delivering what you bought
- to pay Sellers what they have earned
- to send order updates and account notifications
- to fix problems and keep the service secure
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers we need to run Ink & Stitch, and only what they need:
- our payment partner, to process payments and payouts
- couriers, to deliver your order
- hosting, storage, and content-delivery providers
- an email-delivery service, to send order and account emails
- an error-monitoring service, to find and fix bugs
- AI image and language providers, when you use the studio’s AI design tools — the prompts and images you give those tools, and previews of the design you are editing
If you order from a store, the Seller who runs it sees your name, email address, delivery address, what you ordered, and your order status, and can export those order details. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open, and order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you can:
- be informed about how your data is used
- access the personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong or out of date
- object to processing, or ask us to delete or block your data
- get a copy of your data in a portable format
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, access inside our team is limited to the people who need it, and passwords are never stored in readable form.
